End of Season Report 2014

 

With the season at and end, it is time to reflect back on a succesfull year.

 

Formula Challenge

The Formula Challenge saw a very successfull year with Ben Warren and Mike Schroten behind the wheel. The first races, both cars were able to finish inside the points positions. Especially Ben had a very strong start of the season, finishing in the top 10 regulary throughout the season. Mike's highlight came in Canada, where he finished 3rd in the second race. After Canada, the team had a strong month before having a somewhat thougher ending of the season. In the end, the team ended up 6th in the constructors standings with one podium and 127 points. An excellent result after a season's hard work.

 

World Sport Series

The WSS saw drivers William Tringas, Pedro Gomez and Boyd Bryson driving in the Porsches. While results weren't that succesfull, the team still managed to stay consistant by attending every race, and had great fun battling it out in the field, even scoring some points while doing so.

 

Masters

In the Masters, Roy and Mike Schroten made their apperance during the NASCAR event, getting back together like VE-NASCAR in the past. Roy started 1st, with Mike following in 4th. The took the lead and drove at the front for a long portion of the race. in the end, unfortunately, Mike got wrecked in a restart. Roy managed to finish 3rd, just behind Matt and David who gave eachother a push.

 

Roy also drive in the RTS livery at the Indy500 event, but after qualifying 5th, we got wrecked in the third corner by Matt.
